The Year of the Tiger blessed us with the opportunity to host our annual CNY Dinner at Lee Kee after two years of not being able to. It was wholesome to see familiar faces and meet new ones.
Even though we couldn't partake in activities like the iconic Escape Boats from the 2020 CNY Dinner, we were still thankful to gather together and enjoy the yummy foods we missed from home — the peking duck was so good, and don't even get us started on the spicy fried chicken.
"Amidst catching up with old friends and meeting fresh faces, we played the yearly CNY Kahoot."
As the night concluded, and per tradition, the results of the newly elected SMSI Committee were released. Big hugs especially to the SMSI Committee of '21–22 for paving the way for us — we will do our best to carry on the torch.
